Our Story & Why We Exist

The Allen McKee Memorial Foundation was created to honor the life and legacy of Lawrence Allen “Bubba” McKee — a man whose heart belonged to agriculture and to the young people who represent its future. Allen had a deep passion for 4-H and FFA, and he believed wholeheartedly in the values these programs teach: responsibility, leadership, respect, and hard work.

He was a steady advocate for youth in agriculture, always supporting their efforts, encouraging their growth, and showing up in every way he could. His dedication to these programs and the young people involved in them is the foundation of everything we do.

The Allen McKee Memorial Foundation exists to carry forward that same commitment. Through supporting local youth at livestock shows and investing in their work, we strive to continue the impact Allen made — empowering the next generation, strengthening our community, and keeping his passion for agriculture alive in a meaningful and lasting way.
